Is a representation of values for categorical data. Heights or lengths are the values that the data represent. The axis represents the categorical symbolization and the extend to up to which the numbers subtend are the value representation.

There are two types;

• Horizontal Bar Chart or simply bar chart

Example:
Let there be a dummy dataset in which you want to apply the bar chart. Data consists of Grades and No of Students.

• Vertical Bar Chart also known as Column Chart

With this chart we can represent the graphs in vertical pillar forms. With the same data as above the graph is visualized in this way with color formatting each column in the chart.
